Police in the Bahamas say seven Americans were killed in a helicopter crash on July 4th.
The aircraft went down in the Atlantic ocean near Grand Cay Island killing everyone on board including
coal mining billionaire Chris Cline.
The executive was known for his philanthropy and working his way up from coal miner to owning his own company.
A West Virginia church says the family has confirmed Cline’s daughter was also one of the people killed.
There were 4 women and 2 other males on board. Their identities have not yet been released.
The helicopter crashed shortly after takeoff on it’s way to Lauderdale, Florida.
Authorities say they found the helicopter submerged under 16 feet of water after learning that it had not arrived at its destination.
Bahamian police did not say what caused the crash, but say an investigation is underway.
