Former trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort has been sentenced to more prison time.
He’ll spend an extra 43 months in prison on top of the 47 month sentence delivered in Northern Virginia, for a total of about 7.5 years.
The sentencing ends Manafort’s 17 month legal battle with special counsel Robert Mueller’s team.
He was indicted by Mueller in October 2017 and northern Virginia jury found him guilty on eight counts of financial fraud related to his lobbying business, last August.
Last november, a judge ruled Manafort violated a plea agreement on the two conspiracy and witness tampering charges for which he was sentenced Wednesday, by lying.
