The Skiiers and Snowboarders of Freeride World Tour made another stop in Europe, taking their fearless and free-spirited selves atop the high altitudes, and descend down the slopes, adding some twists and turns.
The world’s best freeriders gathered in Ordino Arcalís, Andorra for second to last event of the season. Ordino Arcalís is considered the Pyrenee’s freeride capital. The first out of four world champions was crowned, Marion Haerty won the snowboard event in Andorra, in the process captured the Women’s Snowboard Freeride World Tour title 2019. This season, she won 3 events and had one third place finish. Anna Orlova of Russia came in second, followed by Erika Vikander of the United States.
In the women ski’s category, it was the American Jaclyn Paaso who won the event in Andorra. Arianna Tricomi from Italy came in second, Jacqueline Pollard of the US took third. Tricomi is the 2018 world champion, and she still has the overall lead to win the Women’s Ski Freeride World Tour Title 2019.
