Investigators say over the course of 10 days, the son of a sheriff’s deputy intentionally set fires at three historically black Louisiana churches .

The investigation into motive is still on going, but law enforcement officials say they are looking into a connection to a genre of music called “black metal” that has a history associated with church burnings
Three churches were set ablaze over the span of ten days and the NAACP labeled the fires “domestic terrorism.”
And while the FBI and ATF were aiding the investigation, some local pastors had begun sleeping in their churches as a precaution.
But now that is a suspect is behind bars, the community wants to put this behind them.
