President Trump’s former “fixer” and longtime lawyer Michael Cohen arrived on Capitol Hill today for his second of three congressional testimonies.
He had a closed-door meeting with the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday.
Today, he testifies publicly.
A copy of the testimony submitted to congress shows Cohen will testify that trump was aware of longtime adviser roger stone’s efforts to reach out to Wikileaks in advance of its release of damaging information about Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Cohen also suggested in the testimony that Trump faked a medical condition to get out of serving in the Vietnam War.
He’s also expected to give new details saying trump was closely involved in efforts to build a trump tower in Moscow in 2016.
In short, Cohen says Trump is a racist, con-man and cheat.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Cohen is a “disgraced felon” whose word cannot be trusted.
Cohen starts a three-year prison sentence in may for tax crimes, campaign finance violations and lying to congress in a previous testimony.
