A new paint was launched in Uganda that can ward off mosquitoes.
Health authorities believe that this paint can help reduce the rate of malaria in the country.
The managing director of Kansai Plascon, the paint manufacturer, says “If a mosquito lands on the wall itself, they absorb the active ingredient through their legs and they become disabled.
Over a period of time they will be immobilized and eventually are knocked down.”
The first recipients of this paint are expected to be children centers and health facilities.
