The New York Times is reporting that the White House is reviewing military plans against Iran.
Monday, NYT reported that acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan presented revisions at a meeting with top security officials last week.
The plan would send up to 120-thousand U.S. troops to the Middle East.
They’d be there in case Iran strikes American forces or moves forward in a pursuit of nuclear weapons.
It’s unclear if President Trump has been briefed yet.
This report comes after Iran’s president announced a partial withdrawal from a nuclear deal.
