Authorities are investigating a pair of explosions at a dormitory at the University of Nevada, Reno Friday.
The first one was small and happened inside of a residence hall on campus, but it was followed by a second larger explosion.
Officials referred to the blasts as a quote “major utility incident” and blame a “mechanical failure.”
The damage looks severe, with debris scattered around the building.
Officials say several people were hurt in the explosions, but city leaders say there were no major injuries.
No one was reported to have died, either.
Officials are now surveying the buildings to see if there is structural damage and if they can be used come next week.
