At least six people are dead after an attack during Sunday mass at a Catholic church in Burkina Faso.
It happened in Dablo, a town in the north.
The town’s mayor says the attackers, numbering between 20 and 30, burned down the church and set fire to other buildings.
They also reportedly looted a health center there.
This marks the third attack on a church in weeks in the country.
And, at this time, it is unknown who is behind the attack.
Islamic extremist groups have carried out attacks in the region before, but so far, no one has taken responsibility.
Security forces report that they were sending troops to the area from a nearby base.
