Iowa’s being flooded with democratic presidential hopefuls this weekend.
19 of them spent Saturday campaigning directly to voters.
Now, they will congregate Sunday at the Iowa Democratic Party annual hall of fame dinner in Cedar Rapids.
There, they will each have a few minutes to speak in front of the state’s most dedicated Democrats.
Iowa’s caucus is still more than seven months away, but the first round of debates comes in just a few weeks.
A strong showing at the hall of fame dinner can have a multiplier effect on polling numbers in Iowa.
One notable absence from the event, however, is Joe Biden.
He’s spending the weekend at his granddaughter’s high school graduation.
