It looks like the Antonio Brown saga is over. Well at least for now, he apologized to his team, after a confrontation with Oakland Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock.
Brown returned to practice and he’ s expected to play in the Raiders’ season opener. Brown said in a brief statement after practice, “I want to apologize to my teammates, the organization. Enough talk now. I’m excited to be out here with my teammates and grateful for all the fans and I’m excited to be a part of the Raiders.” The fight with Mayock, was apparently due to Brown’s Instagram post, when he displayed a letter from Mayock detailing more than $50,000 in fines for missing time during training camp. Brown was reportedly going to be suspended. If he were suspended, he could have lost more than $29 million dollars in guarantees over the next two seasons.
