There is good news for former Major League player & manager Art Howe. Sources including ESPN say Howe, who tested postive for COVID-19, has been released from a Houston hospital.
Last week, he was admitted to the hospital and placed in the intensive care unit. Howe told sources, “It was a long five days or so. I’m finally feeling a little bit better.” He also says he will be isolated at his home for at least one week. Howe had been dealing with the illness since feeling symptoms on May 3rd. He played 12 years in the Majors, then he managed three teams, including the Oakland Athletics. He led the A’s to three playoffs.
