If there is March Madness happens this season, Auburn will not participate.
The team has self-imposed a postseason ban. The Tigers are making this decision, after former assistant coach Chuck Person was arrested and charged with bribery. In 2019, person pleaded guilty in accepting bribes and directing players to a financial adviser. He was also accused giving money to players’ families. Person was sentenced to community service and two years probation. Head coach Bruce Pearl says this was a difficult decision, but the right decision.
