After having his charges dropped, former New York Giants cornerback Deandre Baker reportedly has a new home.
The NFL Network says the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to sign Baker to their practice squad. Baker was released by the giants this past offseason, after he was allegedly involved in an armed robbery in Florida, back in May. On Monday, the state attorney’s office dropped the charges against Baker and charged South Florida attorney William Dean with extortion. Dean tried to extort more than $250,000 for each of his clients from Baker.
