The white house and senate leaders came to terms this morning on a two-trillion dollar package aimed toward giving the economy a boost.
It’s one of the most expensive and far-reaching measures in the history of congress.
While full details have yet to be released, the breakdown looks like this:
There will be 250-billion dollars for direct payments to people and families.
A 350-billion dollars in small business loans.
Also, 250- billion dollars in unemployment insurance benefits.
And, 500-billion dollars in loans for distressed companies.
“This agreement is really an outstanding agreement,” Sen. Chuck Schumer states. “To them, to all Americans I say, help is on the way. Big help and quick help. We’re going to take up and pass this package to care for those who are now caring for us and help carry millions of Americans through these dark economic times.
