Couple Charged for Conspiring Attacks with Terrorist Group ISIS
A New York man and an Alabama woman are facing federal charges for planning attacks on American soldiers on behalf of terrorist group ISIS.
The U.S. Department of Justice says the couple was arrested this Wednesday March 31st in an alleged attempt to provide supporting material for the foreign terror organization.
Court documents say that 20 year old James Bradley and 29 year old Arwa Muthana were plotting attacks on U.S. military academy West Point or other military universities.
The documents also show that defendants had contact with the terror group and were planning to travel overseas to support ISIS.
They were arrested while attempting to travel together by cargo ship to the Middle East.
