Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick is hanging up his cleats. He announced his retirement through Twitter on Monday.
Frederick is only 29 years old, but he’s battling an autoimmune disease that affects the nervous system, which knocked him off the field in 2018. Frederick lost some strength and motor skills but he started all 16 games last season. The Cowboys selected Frederick in the first round of the 2013 draft, 31st overall, out of Wisconsin.
