Multiple sources say Dallas Cowboys Defensive End Randy Gregory has filed for reinstatement into the league.
Gregory was suspended all of last season due to issues involving the league’s substance-abuse policy going back to 2015, before he was picked in the second round by the Cowboys. The Nebraska product has been suspended four times for failed or missed tests. Gregory has admitted anxiety issues and marijuana use. Under the new CBA, players can’t be suspended for positive marijuana test, but he will still needs approval from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The NFL has to make a decision on Gregory’s status in the next 60 days.
