Dept. of Education Hosts National School Reopening Summit Today at Noon

After months of discussion, today is the day the U.S. Department of Education will host the National Summit on Safe School Reopening.

The event will be livestreamed at the agency’s official YouTube channel on March 24, 2021 at Noon EDT.

The department will discuss some of the steps needed to provide support and resources to school.

According to a release sent out this Tuesday, their goal is to reopen quickly, safely and equitably. Discussions will focus on addressing social, academic, and emotional needs of students most impacted by the pandemic.
