A former Florida mayor was in court Thursday to be arraigned.
Ex-Port Richey mayor Dale Massad is already accused of practicing medicine without a license and attempted murder for allegedly shooting at deputies trying to serve a search warrant.
Two new charges were added Wednesday night, including conspiring with acting-Port Richey mayor Terrence Rowe to obstruct justice.
Massad is being held without bond.
Rowe was also arrested Wednesday in connection with Massad’s charges.
Police say he tried to interfere with Massad’s investigation, who he previously served under as vice mayor.
Rowe’s bail is set at $15,000.
