Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall resigned, after an investigation into allegations of verbal and physical abuse.
Marshall came under scrutiny, when former player Shaq Morris said he was struck twice by his head coach during a 2015 practice. Morris also claimed he saw Marshall choke assistant coach Kyle Lindsted, who later left to become an assistant at Minnesota. Marshall denied those claims. Marshall had been at Wichita State since 2007. The school says Marshall agreed to a settlement just under 8 million dollars to be paid over the next six years. Shockers assistant coach Isaac brown will serve as interim coach.
