IRS Says It Has Completed Sending Out $600 Stimulus Payments
It’s official, the Internal Revenue Service has sent out all of the $600 stimulus payments approved late last year.
That means the federal government has completed both the first and second rounds of payments.
According to the agency – since Congress enacted the second round, they delivered more than 147 million payments, totaling over $142 billion.
The first round totaled over $270 billion.
But if you’re eligible and your payment hasn’t come, the IRS says it may still be in the mail.
Though, for those who have still not received full payment, you can still claim the payments as a rebate on your 2020 taxes.
