Lakers’ Rajon Rondo Out for Next Four to Five Weeks
Already without Lebron James over the next few games, the Lakers are now going to be more shorthanded. Rajon Rondo is joining James on the injured list. The Lakers say Rondo is going to be out for the next four to five weeks. After undergoing surgery today to repair a ligament in that finger. They say the guard suffered a Grade 3 sprain to his right ring finger during Tuesday’s win against the Golden State Warriors. This is the second surgery for Rondo on his shooting hand this season. On December 21st, he had just returned after missing the previous 17 games following his first surgery. Lonzo Ball is expected to start at point guard in place of Rondo. In 14 games this season, Rondo averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds, and nearly 7 assists.
