There is a sigh of relief for the Detroit Lions. Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, who hurt his thumb early in Sunday’s game against Washington, looks like he’ll miss any time.
The NFL network says X-Rays on his thumb were negative. Stafford may have limited practice this week, but the team is optimistic that he will not miss any game action. Stafford finished 24-of-33 for 276 yards and three touchdowns in their 30-27 win.
