NASCAR is hoping for another successful event.
The best drivers return on Wednesday to the Darlington Raceway for the Toyota 500. This is the first time, a NASCAR race is in the middle of the week since 1984. There is a small tweak, due to inclement weather in the area. The start time for the race is moved up to 6 pm. The race was originally slated for 7:30 pm, but officials made the change because they expect rain later tonight. Drivers will have to complete 228 laps, this race is 65 laps less than Sunday’s Real Heroes 400, which was won by Kevin Harvick. Harvick is starting in the 20th position for Wednesday’s race. Ryan Preece will start in the pole position with his 13-Car.
