The owner of the 311 Speedway in Stokes County posted an advertisement on Facebook for a Bubba rope on sale. The post said, “Buy your Bubba Rope today for only $9.99 each, they come with a lifetime warranty and work great.”
It sparked a backlash on social media and criticism from many people including North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. The Carolina Sprint Tour announced it will not race at the speedway for the rest of the year, and a concrete company is ending its’ partnership with the track. This is all coming off last weekend, when a noose was found in the garage of Bubba Wallace’s 43 car at the Talledega Super Speedway in Lincoln, Alabama.
