The flight data recorder of the crashed Amazon Prime Air plane has been recovered.
That crash happened February 23rd, on Trinity Bay near Anahuac, in Chambers County, Texas.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the plane, which was operated for Amazon by Atlas Air, was lost on radar and radio.
The crash site is about 30 miles southeast of George Bush Intercontinental Airport, which was the plane’s intended destination.
The plane had left Miami in route to Houston hours before.
Three people on board the plane all died in the crash.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash and is sending the flight data recorder to its lab in Washington, D.C.
The box contains information about the plane up until impact.
The flight voice recorder was found earlier.
