Oregon Mayor Urges Businesses To Ignore Shutdown Orders, Open Up For The Holidays
An Oregon a Republican mayor is slamming hi’ states Coronavirus lockdown orders saying ‘The double standards have to stop’
Mayor Stan Pulliam wrote a letter to Democrat gov. Kate Brown ripping the orders saying “Small communities across the state have had enough.”
The mayor said that while people are packing into malls and supporting corporate America local business owners are told to shutdown.
That is why Mayor Pulliam said he is encouraging all businesses to reopen and told Governor Brown exactly that in a letter writing,
“Our neighbors are simply unable to continue drowning in arbitrary rules that are bankrupting their family businesses, Gov. Brown, we are opening. ”
Pulliam’s comments came after brown extended the lockdown through March 3, of next year.
Pulliam wants the governor to present evidence to justify the lockdown orders, but since she has failed to produce any evidence he is pushing for businesses to ignore the state’s lockdown orders
