The Pac-12 has responded to the football players, who are threatening to opt-out of the upcoming season, due to health and safety, racial injustice and economic rights concerns.
The Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott sent a letter to the players leading the #WeAreUnited movement. Scott says in the letter, the conference is working on protocols and initiatives to address the issues, and he wants to speak to the players later this week. ESPN says the players want to meet earlier. This past weekend, the players sent a letter to the Pac-12, asking for answers on how the conference will handle matters related to the pandemic, social justice and economics for the football season.
