Philip Rivers Retires from NFL after 17 seasons

Long-time quarterback Philip Rivers announced his retirement after 17 seasons in the league.
The QB is hanging up his shoulder pads, he started for the Indianapolis Colts this past season. He threw for more than 4,000 yards and 24 touchdowns with the Colts. The 8-time Pro Bowl QB played most of his career with the Chargers franchise. He holds the franchise records for most passing yards and TDs. The NC State product came into the NFL in 2004, as the 4th overall pick.
