Two murder suspects who escaped while being extradited could be getting help from white supremacists.
In May, 56-year-old Blane Barksdale and his wife, 59-year-old Susan Barksdale, were arrested in New York for the murder of 72-year-old Frank Bligh, a Vietnam veteran.
Police said in August, the couple overpowered two security officers in Utah and escaped in the transport van.
The U.S. Marshal for Arizona says Blane, given his previous time in prison, would likely have contacts with people in aryan brotherhoods and white supremacist gangs.
The husband is now on the U.S. Marshal’s most-wanted list.
There is now a $25-thousand reward for information leading to his arrest.
