The body of a murdered University of Utah student has been found.
According to the Salt Lake City police, Mackenzie Lueck’s body was found on wednesday in Logan Canyon.
That’s about 85 miles north of the city.
Luek was last seen after getting out of a ride-share vehicle she had just taken from the city’s airport.
Police say she then met up with Ayoola Ajayi and left a park.
Previously, the department said some of Lueck’s remains were found at Ajayi’s home.
Investigators say he murdered her shortly after picking her up.
They also say he then burned her belongings in his backyard, which ultimately lead to his arrest.
However, charges have yet to be filed against Ajayi.
