A new poll puts President Trump on par with former President Harry Truman.
According to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, former vice president Joe Biden has a nearly 10-point advantage over president trump in a general election match up.
Poll response puts Biden up 52-percent to trump’s 43-percent.
Several other polls also have Biden leading.
Trailing in national polls at this stage in the campaign cycle hasn’t happened to an incumbent president since Harry Truman in 1948.
Of course, the election is still half a year away and Joe Biden isn’t the official Democratic nominee yet.
However, his delegate count lead over Senator Bernie Sanders makes his nomination all but certain.
So a tTump-Biden match up will likely be on the November ballot.
