Some state governors says they’re ready for sports to resume in their states.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says he would like to see sports come back next month, as long as the games don’t have any spectators. California Governor Gavin Newsom also feels the same way. Cuomo says whoever can reopen we’re a ready, willing and able partner. Newsom says hospitalizations from COVID-19 have declined over the last two weeks in California, and he thinks sports can resume in first week of June. Some leagues are already allowing practice facilities to re-open for limited workouts.
