The United Nations Security Council meets for the third time this week to discuss the latest developments on the conflict between Israel and Palestinian known as Hamas.

The conflict that started on Monday May the 10th is now on its sixth day.

Reports from the UN show that casualties amount to 181 dead Palestinians, 9 Isreali dead and over 1400 injured on both sides.

The incident started when militant group Hamas fired ballistics into Israel, which in turn have been answered by air strikes into the opposing side.

The UN reports over 2,900 rockets fired from Hamas, of which 450 were not detained by Israel's ant-missile defense system known as the Iron Dome.
