Study: It Could Take 10 Years for Poorest to Recover Financially

New research suggests that those that find themselves in poverty will require 10 years before reaching pre-pandemic levels financially.
In a study conducted by Oxfam International, a global organization dedicated on poverty, titled “The Inequality Virus” discovered that the poorest around the world would have a hard time recovering. They say this is a sharp contrast to the 1,000 richest people in the planet who recovered losses in less then 9 months.
The study also suggests the virus serves a wake up call to world governments to enact policy to address the disparity.
