Tiger Woods seriously injured in Vehicle Accident
Golf legend Tiger Woods is hospitalized after a vehicle accident, which happened in the Los Angeles, California area.
Law Enforcement Officials say the crash occurred shortly around 7:15 Tuesday morning about 20 miles, south of downtown Los Angeles, near the upscale communities of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes. Officials say Woods was alone in the vehicle, when it rolled over. His car which ended up off the side of a road near a hillside was heavily damaged in the front. No other cars were involved.
Officials also say the 15-time major champion had to be extricated from the vehicle. Authorities say Woods was transported to a local hospital, where he’s undergoing a surgery. His manager Mark Steinberg says, he sustained multiple leg injuries. This is the 3rd time, he’s been involved in a vehicle investigation.
The PGA Tour released a statement saying, “We have been made aware of Tiger Woods’ car accident today. We are awaiting further information when he comes out of surgery. On behalf of the PGA TOUR and our players, Tiger is in our prayers and will have our full support as he recovers.”
