Wolf Missing Since Hurricane Michael Found, Returned Home
Posted On October 22, 2018

A wolf that escaped a sanctuary in Florida during Hurricane Michael has been returned home.
Tahane escaped the Seacrest Wolf Preserve after the facility took a “catastrophic hit” from the hurricane.
Officials say the 16 year-old wolf was traumatized when a tree fell onto his enclosure and fled.
Then, late Friday night, a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy spotted the wolf in the Ebro, Florida area.
He lost sight, but later, a resident reported another sighting nearby.
And once Tahane’s owner arrived, the wolf came to her side immediately.
The sheriff’s office and the preserve are thanking residents for their reports.
